Our photo tour finished on the 23rd, with a richly hued setting sun as we motored into Friday Harbor, WA for the evening. It was a fitting end to a wonderful trip that was graced with sunny days, and no rain! This photo was create while we motored in to port. Local fires and other particles in the air created a wonderful sun and we kept trying to capture a moment when trees crossed over the face of the sun. It was one of those few times that you can expose straight into the sun and still retain detail in your highlights!
I’ll be posting more pictures from the trip but currently am in the airport en route to Duluth, MN. It may take a few days as I have much to do before I begin my next workshop on Madeline Island. Can’t wait to see this area!
