Nik Software is having a Black Friday sale that is a not-to-be-missed deal. If you are looking to buy the complete set (recommended), or just add some extra ones to your library, like the new HDR Efex Pro, this sale is for you! So let Santa know, let your friends know, and save some money this holiday season.
I have been using Nik’s products for some time now and truly love them. One of the most special features is the ‘u-point’ technology – that allows you to selectively control an area of the image, and group areas together to make common adjustments. I also like the friendly user interface. Once you learn one product, you can be assured that it will be a piece of cake to learn the others as they all work very much the same way. My favorites are Silver Efex Pro, Viveza 2, and the newest, HDR Efex Pro but I use them all! This image above is a single HDR process.
Beginning on Wednesday, November 24 (that’s tomorrow!!) through Tuesday, November 30, just use the coupon code “BTHARP” and you will automatically receive any of these fantastic deals below:
- Complete Collection Ultimate Edition $419.95 ($180 savings)
- Complete Collection Lightroom/Aperture Edition $219 ($80 savings)

Yes, and Nik has been terrific in their customer support and the development of products. I’m very happy with them.
Brenda,
That shot is too cool! What software or combination of software did you use to create it? You seem to bring out the best in what may have been an otherwise mundane type of photograph. I think I used this expression once before: Wow.
Thanks,
John
Thanks, John – I used Nik’s HDR Efex Pro – the single HDR preset and adjusted a little bit from the preset. It opens up all the slide files we have to work with now, this program!
