I just received word that my book was included in a ‘short’ list of best photography books. The list is not really that short, but considering there are about 69,000 photography books published, it’s great to get into a collection of ‘best’! It’s not easy finding out about all the photography books, and this compilation makes it easier to see what’s out there by categories that interest you. The Best Photography Books website is a cool site, making it easy to peruse top choices in a wide variety of categories. Mine is listed under Nature, but there’s a whole of other categories worth exploring.

Thanks, Ellery, and John. It’s just a good feeling to know that the book is regarded as one that is helping people develop vision and skills.
Not surprised Brenda. It is a terrific book and one I recommend to all my students.
Excellent…can’t wait to get a copy!
Thanks, Stacey – glad the idea’s catching on – keep sharing it!
Congratulations Brenda. The book does deserve to be in the best. Funny, Kalani mentioned the phrase “zoom with your feet”. I have used the phrase a few times now since reading your book (original edition).
