I don’t profess to know the names of all the beautiful places we are visiting in Slovenia, but I’m having no trouble photographing them! Autumn is just peaking now, yet it’s competing with the rains. We are very lucky to be here at this moment because we have wonderful moody conditions. It is always a challenge to photograph in the rain, but you get used to it and develop a system that works. Today, it’s been snowing up high, but we can’t see anything because of the very low clouds; now and then we get a glimpse of the snowy mountains, and we’re hopeful that tomorrow we’ll have an opportunity to get a clearer view of them with snow.
There is so much rich history in this country, too, and it’s great learning about some of the ‘story’ behind the scenery.
This image was quickly processed on a laptop so it’s not ‘finished’ properly, but you’ll get the idea of how beautiful it is here.
Thanks for visiting!
