What an incredible place the Quiver Tree Forest is. We photographed sunrise and afternoon/sunset light, then headed back after dinner for some star photography, as we have a new moon and it’s a really dark place, unless you point towards the tiny town nearby, which I did, to purposely add a warm glow to the bottom of the frame. The milky way glowed overhead. And we saw the southern cross, which I hadn’t seen since 1984 in New Zealand. Very cool.
Enjoy!
I remember the Quiver trees and this brings be right back to South Africa! Great Brenda.
Thanks, John. I remembered you had been there with Freeman Patterson, we were talking about it the other day. We’re having a grand time here!
Awesome place and what a fantastic shot! Stunning!
Thank you Estee, I appreciate the feedback. It’s truly an amazing location to photograph in daylight and at night!
